Employee Referral Program

Earn $100 for each referral with the Y’s new Employee Referral Program!

Do you have a friend or a relative who is looking for a job? Are they passionate about finding their purpose and changing the lives of others? Then, ask them to apply and you’ll be eligible for up to $300 in referral bonuses!

OPEN POSITIONS

  • The bonus program is effective for any referrals beginning March 10, 2022.
  • To qualify for the bonus, you must be a First Coast YMCA employee or active member.
  • You can refer your friend or relative for any open position at the First Coast YMCA.
  • You’ll get a $100 bonus for each referral up to a maximum of $300 (3 referrals).
  • Your friend or relative must list you as the referral on their application to qualify you for the bonus.
  • If your friend(s) is hired, you will receive $100 after they work their first 90 days at the Y.

Lifeguards and Swim Instructors

  • To qualify, they must be over 16 years of age, pass a swim test and the certification.
  • If your friend(s) is hired, you will receive $100 after they work their first 90 days at the Y.

Summer Camp Counselors and Directors

  • To qualify, they must be 15 years of age and have experience working with children.
  • A non-relative reference is required.
  • They must be available to work Monday-Friday May 31-August 12 (varies by county).
  • If your friend(s) is hired, and works this summer, you will receive $100 for your first referral and $100 for each additional referral up to a total of $300!
