The First Coast YMCA is teaming up with Ys across Florida to help those impacted by Hurricane Ian.
Please join us in opening our hearts to those devastated by the storm.
We are grateful that our First Coast YMCA branches received minimal damage from Hurricane Ian, and we hope that our members fared the same!
Other communities in Florida experienced unprecedented flooding and destruction from the storm. YMCAs across the state received varying levels of damage, and Ys that are operational have become safe havens for the stranded and homeless—a place where families and individuals alike can find electricity, a hot shower, and a comforting environment.
If you are able, consider making a donation right now to support the Y’s Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. Every dollar we raise will go directly to YMCAs serving the communities in Florida hit hardest by this historic and devastating storm—and those Ys are working around the clock to reopen so they can do the same.
100% of all contributions will be used for recovery efforts; no administrative costs will be taken by Florida State Alliance of YMCAs.
You Can Help
Your donation will help the Y provide food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning and other assistance to storm victims.
