About the YMCA Academic Program
In partnership with Kids Hope Alliance, the YMCA Academic Program is a free, comprehensive, school-based afterschool program provides educational and enrichment opportunities for youth grades K-5 at Duval County Public School sites. The program is led by certified teachers and youth development leaders from the First Coast YMCA. Child in the program tend to have better attendance, promotion rates and grades at the same schools as children who do not attend the program.
Summer Camp 2023
The YMCA Academic Program Summer Camp provides a free, safe and enriching environment for your students! In addition to 3 hours of literacy- focused academic support, students will engage in safety around water lessons, social and emotional learning, cultural arts enrichment, fitness activity, and educational field trips! Students will be served breakfast and lunch daily.
