Texas Roadhouse Employees to Transform Yulee Kids Campus

DOZENS OF TEXAS ROADHOUSE EMPLOYEES TO TRANSFORM YULEE KIDS CAMPUS IN JUST FOUR HOURS

NASSAU COUNTY, FL – The YMCA’s PrYme Time at the Yulee Kids Campus has been selected by Texas Roadhouse to receive a dramatic facility makeover. On Monday, April 28 from noon-4:00pm, more than 100 Texas Roadhouse employees from around the country will team up to give the building a fresh coat of pain, re-mulch the playground, create a community garden and much more. Texas Roadhouse has also contributed $10,000 to help transform the facility.

The Yulee Kids Campus on Pages Dairy Road serves more than 100 children by providing a year-round Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program and licensed after-school childcare program. For three hours each day, children participating in the VPK program focus on learning tools that will help them succeed in kindergarten. In addition, students from Yulee Elementary School are picked up for after-school care at the Yulee Kids Campus.

YMCA programs strengthen families and boost youth development by providing children with experiences that ensure early learning readiness experiences and other child development programs. The Y addresses the holistic development of children by supporting early literacy, the development of healthy habits and strong parenting skills, laying a foundation for future and ongoing achievement and success.

Media who wish to cover the event should RSVP to Michelle Moore at mmoore@FirstCoastYMCA.org no later than Friday, April 25.
