Ages 3-17
Flag football has skyrocketed in popularity among youth in the U.S. In 2023, there were over 1.6 million American youth players, including more than 500,000 girls. Flag football will become an Olympic sport for both men and women by 2028! When your child plays flag football at the Y, they’ll focus on the in-game basics like teamwork and making friends.
Our Youth Flag Football league allows boys and girls the opportunity to learn new skills, play on a team and have fun! Involvement is fundamental to the game and every child attending practice will play half of every game. The YMCA Youth Sports philosophy is unique. We emphasize good sportsmanship, teamwork, values, and fellowship with others, in addition to teaching fundamental skills.
🚨 New Safety Feature at the Y! 🚨
Starting September 1, all parents, guardians, and spectators who are not YMCA members will need a FREE Spectator Guest Membership to attend youth sports practices, games, and matches.
It’s quick, simple, and helps us keep every child and family safe. ✅
