JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – March 24, 2026 – The YMCA of Florida’s First Coast is proud to announce the 21st season of the First Coast Games, a long-standing initiative led by the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, rooted in the organization’s broader mission of strengthening community health and connection across the First Coast.
The 2026 season will officially kick off with the First Coast Games Opening Ceremony on March 28 at the Brooks Family YMCA, launching eight weeks of friendly competition, networking and sustained wellness among participating organizations.
First launched more than two decades ago as a small corporate challenge, the First Coast Games has grown into a widely recognized regional tradition that strengthens workplace culture while encouraging employees to adopt healthier lifestyles.
“First Coast Games is about more than competition — it’s about creating healthier workplaces and a more connected community,” said Eric Mann, President and CEO of First Coast YMCA. “For 21 years, we’ve seen how shared wellness experiences can transform employee engagement, boost morale and help companies invest in the long-term well-being of their teams.”
This year, the First Coast Games includes participation from 31 companies and more than 3,500 employees across the region. Events span more than a dozen sports and activities, including pickleball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, softball, tennis, dodgeball, kickball, cornhole, bowling and a Closing Ceremony 5K.
The initiative reflects the YMCA’s longstanding commitment to strengthening community health across Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties by making wellness accessible, engaging and sustainable for working professionals.
The 2026 season is proudly led by the Title Sponsor, JPMorgan Chase and Presenting Sponsor, the Jacksonville Jaguars, with additional support by Precor, Vecellio & Grogan, Inc. and Brooks Rehabilitation. The games also recognize Cox Media Group as their official media partner and JP Agency and W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. as event sponsors.
The City of Jacksonville has offered its longtime support for the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast and the First Coast Games, reinforcing the city’s commitment to workforce wellness, civic engagement and regional collaboration.
Among the teams participating this year, several new organizations have joined the tradition of friendly competition and corporate wellness:
