Ground-Level Branch to Open in Class-A Office Building for YMCA Members
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – March 3, 2026 – Shanna Collective and Iguana Investments will welcome the First Coast YMCA to serve as the operator of the new 6,000-square-foot wellness center on the first floor of One Tower Court, the six-story Class-A office building that will inaugurate the Shipyards development. The wellness center marks an additional YMCA footprint downtown and is the 16th YMCA branch in the Association.
The fitness facility, designated as the Downtown YMCA branch, will serve YMCA members and anticipates a grand opening in mid-March 2026. Once open, it will operate six days a week, Monday-Saturday.

The Downtown YMCA will provide state-of-the-art Freemotion cardio and strength equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and circuit training, as well as functional and recovery equipment. It will also host 15-20 group fitness classes per week, taught by certified YMCA Group Fitness instructors.
Auld & White Constructors completed the build-out of the facility.

The development of the Jacksonville Shipyards is ushering in the historic next chapter for Downtown Jacksonville. In addition to the six-story office building, which will house Jaguars’ front office headquarters, among other tenants, the long-anticipated Jacksonville Shipyards project will encompass Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Jacksonville with 170 hotel rooms and 26 residences; five public-facing restaurants; Riverwalk; pier; a marina support building; and 78-boat slip public marina.
