About the YMCA Academic Afterschool Program

In partnership with Kids Hope Alliance, the YMCA Academic Program offers a free, comprehensive, school-based afterschool program for students in grades K-5 at Duval County Public School locations. The program is facilitated by certified teachers and youth development leaders from the First Coast YMCA. Students who participate in the program typically show improved attendance, higher promotion rates, and better grades compared to those who do not participate.
