As “America’s swim instructor,” the YMCA teaches children of all ages and from all backgrounds that water should be fun, not feared, if you know how to stay safe in and around water.
The Farah & Farah law firm and First Coast YMCA are partnering to raise awareness to the life-saving water safety resources available to the community at the Y.
Our Ys offer swim lessons for all ages, family swim, competitive swimming teams, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the water.
Our certified and experienced instructors emphasize personal safety, swimming skills and endurance, while guiding students with praise and encouragement.
Free Swim Testing
Make sure your family is ready for the water this summer. The Y offers FREE SWIM TESTING for children and adults at all locations with a pool. Guests are welcome. Check your neighborhood First Coast YMCA for pool hours. Our professional aquatics team will assess skill level and growth areas, helping you and your family stay safe in the water.
