Williams Tennis

The Williams Family YMCA Tennis facility offers 13 first-class clay tennis courts. Our professional teaching staff offers private lessons and group instruction for all ages and skill levels.

Year-Round Programs

Tennis 101

New to tennis? The Y offers a monthly Tennis 101 clinic providing the opportunity to learn the game with other players at your level in a fun, positive and supportive environment! Participants will become familiar with basic strokes, court positioning, footwork and ball control. Class meets weekly for a one-hour group clinic. New classes begin monthly.

Tennis Refresher Clinic

Getting back into tennis after a long layoff? If you enjoyed tennis years ago and dream of taking up the game again for exercise and social connection, this class is for you. Participants will become reacquainted with ground strokes, volleys and serving, and practice match play in a fun, positive environment. Class meets weekly for a one-hour group clinic. New classes begin monthly.

Cardio Tennis

Our cardio Tennis class is an upbeat way to move and groove on the tennis court. Have fun with others as you practice skills and footwork drills to music, taking tennis to a whole other level! This is a weekly drop-in clinic.

Tiny Tots (Ages 4-6)

Beginner level program introduces basic tennis fundamentals in a cheerful environment.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00pm – 5:30pm
Program Cost: $46 members / $86 non-members per month

Orange Ball (Ages 7-12)

Beginner/Advanced Beginner level program teaches stroke technique, footwork and point play in a positive, engaging environment.

Green Ball (Ages 9-12)

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate level program focuses on stroke technique, footwork, court positioning and match play within the group.

High School Match Play Clinic (Ages 13-17)

Aimed at High School Team participants, this Advanced Intermediate/Tournament level program focuses on stroke development, footwork and match play strategy in a competitive environment.

Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00pm–6:30pm
Program Cost: $90 members/ $120 non-members per month
(Option to attend one day per week at reduced cost)

The Y’s professional teaching staff offers private lessons and group instruction for all ages and skill levels.


Private Lessons

  • 1-Hour Private Lesson – $60
  • 30-Minute Private Lesson – $34

Private lessons are customized based on each individual player’s desired practice. This may include stroke development, court positioning, match play strategy and technical analysis. Hitting and playing sessions are charged at the same rate as private lessons.


Group Clinics

1-Hour Clinic:

  • 2 people – $34/each
  • 3 people – $23/each
  • 4 person – $18/each

Group clinics are also available for small group training. This may include stroke development, court positioning, match play strategy and technical analysis.

Court Reservation Policies and Procedures

Court Fees

$16 per court (includes up to 1.5 hours of play divided by the number of people playing)

Lighted courts for evening play provided at no additional cost

Two payment options:

  • Unlimited tennis play (billed monthly on the 1st or 15th)
    • Individual – $30/month
    • Family – $45/month
  • Play Now Punch Card (billed at $0 balance)
    • Purchase $40 pre-loaded play credit.
    • Payment is deducted from balance in $4 increments based on court time used.
    • Once balance hits $0, players purchase additional play credit to replenish $40 balance.
    • Players may check balance and reload play credit with Y Front Desk staff.

Court Reservations

  • Court reservations are made through Court Reserve.
  • For Unlimited members, reservations may be made up to three days prior to play.
  • For YMCA members, reservations may be made up to two days prior to play.
  • Court time is reserved in increments up to 1.5 hours per match.
  • Hours of play are:
    • Monday-Friday, between 8:00am (7:30am) and 8:00pm
    • Saturday-Sunday, between 8:00am and 5:00pm
  • Court Maintenance is scheduled between Noon – 3:00 pm. During this time, court availability is limited.
