Tips and Preparation

For the best possible experience, new Zumba® class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor. No experience is necessary!

  • Come to class dressed ready to move your body! Wear loose-fitting, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow. Clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended.
  • Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit. Open-toed and/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted. Cross-training shoes designed for lateral movement are highly recommended.
  • Please bring water and a sweat towel.
