This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees, and back. Get fit while you have fun in the pool!
This class will take place at our YMCA branches with pools. Some of our pools are outdoors, while others are indoors. Please be sure to check your app for the schedule of classes to see what is available to you! Questions? Please visit or call the Welcome Center at your YMCA for assistance.
Tips and Preparation
New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers!
- The Y provides any needed equipment for this class.
- Come to class dressed and ready for the pool! Proper swim attire is required (swimsuit). No basketball shorts, street clothes, etc.
- Water shoes (optional)
- Towel and water bottle
