Zumba Toning®

Zumba Toning® combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness party! Using Zumba® toning sticks or light-weight dumbbells, you’ll work every muscle group while you groove to the music!

Tips and Preparation

For the best possible experience, new Zumba Toning® class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor and be provided with any equipment needed. No experience is necessary!

  • The Y provides any needed equipment for these classes.
  • Come to class dressed ready to move your body. Wear loose-fitting, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow. Clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended.
  • Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit. Open-toed and/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted. Cross-training shoes designed for lateral movement are highly recommended.
  • Please bring water and a sweat towel.
