SilverSneakers® Yoga

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses in SilverSneakers® Yoga! Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Tips and Preparation

For the best possible experience, new SilverSneakers® Yoga class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor and have time to gather and set up equipment. No experience is necessary!

  • The Y provides any needed equipment for this class. We suggest arriving early to set up your equipment.
  • Come to class dressed ready to move your body. Wear comfortable, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow.
  • Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit. Open-toed and/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted.
  • Utilize options as needed!
  • Please bring water and a sweat towel.
