The Y’s freestyle, instructor-designed dance classes provide a fun, invigorating workout for all fitness levels! Across our Association, you can find classes such as Cardio Dance, Latin Fit, and Low Impact (and so many others!) that will get you working hard to gain and maintain cardiovascular, aerobic, and muscular endurance. Enjoy a variety of musical styles that will keep you moving and grooving!

Tips and Preparation
For the best possible experience, new class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor. No experience is necessary!
- The Y provides any needed equipment for these classes.
- Come to class dressed and ready to move your body.
- Wear loose-fitting, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow. Clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended.
- Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit. Open-toed and/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted. Cross-training shoes designed for lateral movement are highly recommended.
- Please bring water and a sweat towel.
