Tai Chi

Originally developed in ancient China for self-defense, Tai Chi evolved into a graceful form of exercise that is now used for stress reduction and to help with a variety of other health conditions.

Tai Chi classes have numerous benefits for all levels!

Tips and Preparation

For the best possible experience, new Tai Chi class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor.

  • Please bring your own workout mat. We suggest arriving early to set up your mat.
  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body. Wear functional, flexible workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow.
  • This class is typically performed in bare or sock feet.
  • Please bring water. Participants may prefer to bring a warmer article of clothing and/or a sweat towel for comfort.
