A refreshing alternative to land aerobics! This low-impact class is designed to increase flexibility, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance through the use of water resistance and the occasional use of equipment.
This class will take place at our YMCA branches with pools. Some of our pools are outdoors, while others are indoors. Please be sure to check your app for the schedule of classes to see what is available to you! Questions? Please visit or call the Welcome Center at your YMCA for assistance.
Tips and Preparation
New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers!
- The Y provides any needed equipment for this class.
- Come to class dressed and ready for the pool! Proper swim attire is required (swimsuit). No basketball shorts, street clothes, etc.
- Water shoes (optional)
- Towel and water bottle
